Hialeah Gardens Adaro defeats ModernBrain King Arthur on a 3-0 decision, advancing to the final round (top two out of 38 teams).

The case: On February 16, 2025, Arthur Henley died in the hospital while under the care of his relative Dr. Elias Hornby. The syringe Hornby used to administer treatment to Henley was allegedly contaminated with a lethal substance. Hornby was tried for murder and acquitted. Now, Henley’s family is suing Hornby for medical malpractice and wrongful death. The plaintiff, Andy Parr on behalf of Arthur Henley’s estate, argues that Hornby deliberately used the contaminated syringe to cause Henley’s death with hopes of receiving a share of the will following Henley’s death. Hornby has denied any allegations of involvement in Henley’s death.
